Hey Everybody. So I guess you could say I've been on hiatus. Louisiana has been a huge adjustment, and finding someplace to work has been really difficult. But I have been working again recently. A few months ago I started renting space at LSU's community outreach studio. It wasn't bad I guess, but it was very constrictive. Their clay, their glaze, them firing... I found myself getting frustrated more often than not. So we came up with a new plan. A friend of a friend gave me the opportunity to hook up my old manual kiln I purchased a few years ago. So this past Christmas when we went home to Ohio we brought my kiln back to Louisiana with us. It is now hooked up and we are planning to fire it for the first time next week. I'm pretty excited about it. So here's a few in-progress pics.
